I finally made it to the Opera House last night. I’ve wanted to go since we got here, but just hadn’t really got around to buying tickets until recently. I saw Bell Shakespeare’s Macbeth. It was really good. I’ve never read Macbeth so I really had to pay attention to figure out what was going on. It’s been a few years since I’ve read any Shakespeare, so it took me a while to remember how Elizabethan English works. I caught on well enough and understood most of it. The cast performed very well and delivered flawlessly. It was really cool just to be at a building as cool as the Sydney Opera House. It’s one of the most amazing places I’ve ever been to. Hopefully I’ll make it back there some day, but for now it will have to do.
